"My rating is midway. Customer service was great but the prices are unbelievably high. I went with another company for my capacitor repair and door latch repair, a $30 part for capacitor and a few new wires on the latch, your company charged me a total $680. Another well known reputable company charged me only $225. Not to mention online scheduling scheduled me a date and time, confirmed it via email and they never showed. I called and she stated there were no technicians avail for 2 days. The heat index was 104° that day."

"I really liked the quick response time. I didn't like the technicians were scheduled for 8-10am but showed at 11:30am. I didn't like trying to be sold an entire new unit that no one could tell me the actual cost of (not just a monthly payment). I really liked the technicians. They were very respectful and I felt the price was fair. I was told a part needed ordering and would be in on Monday with possibly Monday evening installation. I have called asking if the part is in and a call back to schedule service, but i have not heard back from service experts. Im glad the techs could fix the initial cooling issue but I dont know why I'm being neglected."

"On the phone, I was told that the tech would be there on 7/2, between 2-4. I got a call on 7/1 (evening), with him telling me he that he was going to be late for his 7/1 appointment....did I still want him to come. I was expecting him the next day, but it was a 95+ degree week and my tenants had been w/o a/c for several days. So I said OK to come that night. My tenant said he came & said he didn't have time to work....he would be back the next Tues or Wed. (this was the July 4th weekend and I guess no one wanted to work on the holiday....even tho' I was told they'd be there on Sat). What could I do.... The following Tuesday...no call. The next day (Wed)...still no call. So I called and was told that the tech had an accident and they didn't know if they could get a replacement tech out. (still a 95+ degree week and tenants with no a/c). The tech finally got there on Thursday (7/7) and the a/c was back on. I did not consider this good service."

"Because when my husband and I bought our system, we chose the Platinum Maintenance Plan because of what it offered. My husband died unexpectedly shortly after. When I asked the tech during fall maintenance 2020 to have my yearly bill sent to me, he told me to call the office and asked to have it billed monthly to my credit card. He told me they weren't sending out monthly bills anymore. After I did this and my a/c went out July 2021 I was told I no longer had the Platinum Plan and it had been done away with. Then I find out that Lennox coils are poorly manufactured and Lennox has known since 2010. My coil had to be replaced and I was charged $1100 for 2 hours labor. Then, the technician told me the only way I could have the Advantage plan (which is the new name for my plan) was to totally replace my 4 year old unit. I contacted the person that he gave me the contact information and never heard back. I get the feeling that this was done intentionally. My plan should have been grandfathered in and it's just poor business to do anyone this way, much less a widow who is on a fixed income. I should have the plan I signed up for at the beginning and it should be reinstated. I have every piece of correspondence and all my paper work. I was never notified that any changes were being made or given a chance to say that I wanted to continue with my original plan."

The tech was able to assess the issue and found that the prior crew that installed the new HVAC system did a subpar job and is supposedly getting this info to the correct people to get this unit repaired properly. "I? had 2 techs come that day, so Im not sure who 1010 is. However, I? reminded the operator when I? made the appointment that I? needed a 20 x 30 filter. The tech did NOT bring the correct filter. After the first tech left saying everything was fine, the system kept shutting down. I? removed my old filter, but the system kept shutting down. The second tech said he received no error codes and all was well, just let it run awhile. The system shut down before he left the driveway. He came back and checked again and suddenly I? need a new system. He said he would come back on Monday with someone to help remove the unit cover. It has been a week and I? gave not seen anyone. After nearly 15 years, I? am taking my business elsewhere."

"Im a longtime CALVERLEY customer for 20 years, recently widowed & on the hassle free MAINTENCE PLAN. Service guys came out last Friday August 6, 2021 to service 2 of 4 units. The first downstairs unit needed Freon (they now charge $170/lb instead of $65). The second unit was the main reason for the service call, it stopped cooling altogether. Tech said it needed NEW coil & NEW compressor, Estimated REPAIR costs $8,134 (not including more Freon) They said IT WOULD BE SEPTEMBER BEFORE THE PARTS CAME IN. I told them NO THANK YOU. As an alternative fix, the RSC wrote up an offer to install 2 whole new systems for $22,000 and suggested signing up with the 10-year ADvantage Plan. I told them I would get back to them on that too. Im left with no cool air upstairs & the other 3 units downstairs are working overtime to cool the upstairs downdraft. The second unit is upstairs in a closet with a pull-down access into the ATTIC. The service tech left the pull-down ladder DOWN with the unit fan left ON and tons of hot air blowing down into the room. The service light was still on in the attic space and Insulation sprinkled down into the closet, Im too short to push the ladder back up by myself so I called the RSC because his number was on the card he left with the NEW SYSTEMS OFFER. He notified the tech who was on his way to another call. I told them to forget it & I would call my son to come close the attic access. I never got a receipt to sign and the tech simply took a photo of my credit card which was charged $340 for only the Freon. My son was furious and I feel like Ive been let down by Calverley. Breaking up is hard to do but Im done."

"Courtavius installed a capacitor on Thursday evening but several hours later the A/C stopped blowing cool air. The guy on Saturday got everything working again and so far (Monday) it has continued to function properly. Therefore, I rated it a 6 since it's currently working but after the $ 232 capacitor was installed it went out again. BTW, I schedule an appointment between 2 to 4 Friday which turned out to be a "no show," and caused me to miss another appointment. The Saturday guy was scheduled between 10 to 12 and was early."
