The Proven Furnace Repair Experts

Being worried about your comfort shouldn’t be something to stress about as seasons transform and temperatures drop in Southhaven. It’s necessary to remember that even as you transition from using your air conditioner to a furnace, both systems run independently and should be controlled as such so you can avoid AC and furnace repairs. After all, you don’t want to be confronted with your furnace going out in the course of the coldest part of winter.

We have pretty much seen all that the Southhaven weather can throw our way, and we’re here to make sure you’re comfortable even when it seems like the weather can’t get any more unpredictable. We recognize that if you’re calling us at 3 a.m., all you need is for your furnace to be fixed quickly, and the right way, the first time around so you can get back to having a warm home. That’s why our team of NATE-certified technicians is available at any hour, day or night, to take control of any furnace repair you may require. Plus, our team has the knowledge and skill to repair your furnace regardless of the make, model or age. You can relax knowing that we can take care of any adversity that may come up.

Of course we also must say that we highly recommend that you have annual furnace service completed so that you’re not stuck reaching us in the middle of the night with problems. There are also a few things that you can check yourself prior to calling us, so if you do end up calling, we’ll both be on the same page and know that these small things have already been checked.

  • Do you have the thermostat set to “heat”? – Once colder weather finally settles in for good, it can be easy to forget that you need to have your thermostat changed over to “heat.” It happens a lot more often than you’d think, so be sure you double-check your thermostat and its setting.
  • Is the furnace switch on? – Normally on the side of your furnace, the furnace switch looks like a normal light switch and should be flipped up, or on. If it’s not, flip the switch on, and once the built-in time delay period has ran, your furnace will turn back on. The time delay is typically only a couple minutes.
  • Have you changed your furnace filter? – Forgotten about more than people woud like to admit, furnace filters play a considerable role in the performance and efficiency of your system. There’s also a possibility that it could prevent your furnace from operating at all. Be sure to swap your furnace filter out every three months for the best performance.
  • Look at your circuit breaker – Another component to check is your circuit breaker. If the breaker switch for your furnace is tripped, you can cycle it off and then back on. Doing so should allow the system to kick back on. If it doesn’t, give us a shout and we can work together to figure out what the obstacle is.

*If you notice a strong gas smell, call Service Experts immediately.

Regardless of the problem you’re confronted with, we’re here 24/7 to be sure your system is operating correctly and providing you with a comfortable home. Give us a call at 901-235-1196 or schedule an appointment with us online to get something set up today.
